What does the Pre-Vet Club do?
Welcome to the Pre-Vet Club! We are dedicated to providing resources and support for students passionate about pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. Our club connects you with experienced technicians and doctors, offering opportunities for knowledge sharing, volunteering, and informative sessions to help you become a competitive applicant.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Pre-Vet Club focuses on exposing its members to helpful skills and opportunities to better prepare them for veterinary careers. We meet every other week with the exception of volunteer opportunities and some special guest speakers who can't make our meeting times. MEMBER OF THE SEMESTER & OUR BLOG
With every meeting and volunteer opportunity, members are able to accumulate points. The member with the most points by the end of each fall and spring semester will be awarded Member of the Semester. If you happen to earn this reward you will get a prize. Updates on what we have been doing throughout the semester will be available to be viewed on our blog!

HOW DO POINTS WORK?

To be an active member, you need to attend 2 meetings a semester

1 point is awarded for attending and signing into meetings in person

Points are also awarded for signing up and attending volunteer opportunities
I WANT TO BE A MEMBER BUT CAN'T MAKE MEETINGS
We understand that not everyone can attend all of the meetings. If you are unable to attend meetings, contact us and we will be happy to work things out with you if you're committed to being part of the club!
WHAT ABOUT CLUB FEES?

We have reinstated club fees, a fee of $10 will be due each semester. If help is needed for fees please feel free to let us know and we will do our best to help!

We have set up fundraiser opportunities to buy stickers and shirts, although they are not mandatory this is what pays for food and other materials for meetings

You have the option to get a stole

To get a stole you need to be an active member for at least 2 SEMESTERS
